There are so many blessings that I have not taken a chance to stop and realize them happening lately.
My Grandma made it through getting a pacemaker. She is a strong lady! and still has a smile on her face. What a great attitude after going through so much! Since she most likely missed her parakeets, i found a little plastic parakeet on a stand. I replaced the batteries. It was 50 cents but for it's purpose and finding it at that indoor sale this weekend made it priceless.
I delivered it to her so she could have a little touch of home with her at the hospital. she will be home soon of course but
any touch of home always seems to help recovery in my opinion! :). it chirps when you get in front of it and turns its head. cutest little thing!
When we reach out and help others it always seems to come back to us threefold. I felt the urge to reach out and ask friends if they needed help this past week. What a blessing to have found a friend who said yes. Dont know what i was thinking asking someone if they needed help when i have so little myself in terms of time and resources.
However, even if you have very little, still giving is the richest feeling in the world as our purpose in life is to help others and greatly increases our chances of success in life.
In return for helping a distant friend, i gained a much closer friend as well as gained a half car load of things to find new homes for. It was most unexpected but also a blessing as it will help in so many ways!
So there is a reason for everything that happens and i didnt need to know why i would offer help when i wasnt sure i could afford to do it at all, it was meant to be that way. in exchange for finding new homes for all the items donated to me, i will in turn have more gas for helping others. and that my friends is karma and things working smoothly in the universe.
while you may see items i list for sale with high prices, i am never quite sure what to list items for exactly. i just know they all need new homes and that any funds received are greatly appreciated so am open to offers on everything! The funds are then used to help others. That is how it works! so please make an offer on any items listed and gain something you love at a great price!!! i will most likely accept your offer and never be insulted at any offer.
