researching antique books update~

AS i have found after working on this page virtually three or so days straight, library people really do have tiring exhausting work...research is fun, treasure hunting for old books is fun, but recording everything is not so fun...
.at least for me. i am exhausted, and keep getting all the books mixed up...
was working on one box, then another, and never yet went back to get the photos...
t0o many treasures all at once can be too much of a good thing...did i really just say that? maybe a nap, and then back to these books...! maybe even a new box full :)

thankful for today

Thank you from The Pyrex Gypsy and Retro City Trash and treasures,  for all the prayers and well wishes on Facebook and everywhere else.

It was a big shock to hear my grandma was flown an hour away to the big hospital for a stroke last night. Family says though she is in good spirits and lots of tests were done, they are still doing even more testing... After a heart attack and stents, stroke is much more likely but with tests done they say it was not caused by the stents...interestingly enough..and such a relief to hear her answer when i asked how she liked the helicopter ride. She said they had her wear earmuffs (headphones) so they could hear each other in the helicopter when they talked. Always a good sport, gotta love her.

Family is much more important than thrifting no matter how fun it is I stayed home today helping keep everyone posted on updates and am thankful she is doing well.

My fibromyalgia is acting up again too, rest is very important during flareups. i have learned to just take one day at a time. just like my grandma who really wants to do all her own yard work still but we all told her no to snow shoveling this winter. Glad she listened to the doctor and decided to stay inside.

hoping to have my energy back tomorrow i have tons of new treasures to get listed that need new homes!
