researching antique books update~

AS i have found after working on this page virtually three or so days straight, library people really do have tiring exhausting work...research is fun, treasure hunting for old books is fun, but recording everything is not so fun...
.at least for me. i am exhausted, and keep getting all the books mixed up...
was working on one box, then another, and never yet went back to get the photos...
t0o many treasures all at once can be too much of a good thing...did i really just say that? maybe a nap, and then back to these books...! maybe even a new box full :)

the pyrex gypsy

so every day i have this urge to go find cool vintage pyrex....i just seem to always find it when i look. it is something to where it could become a problem if i dont start alerting the public to such craziness and addictions of the vintage dish mania that seems to overtaken any reasonable ounce of just say no to vintage dishes today sense that i may have had left....that is right i don't think it exists any longer. ha.

so today i found a couple of pretty little bowls with spouts and the pattern? one i thought i would never see in town....little red birds...ah...grabbed those right up...is it wrong that i was trembling holding my excitement back as these bowls were marked so low compared to the overpriced brown pyrex casserole dishes filled with scratches..they have no clue in that store how to price the stuff and for that i am thankful..mark all the ugly plain old brown stuff up high and keep giving me the colorful pretty dishes at good prices. yay!

today i decided to call myself The Pyrex Gypsy as i have many adventures traveling across town through town and to other many towns....on my quest for the best vintage pretty colorful pyrex i can find at the best prices of course!

even made a blog page for it. of course i did! i make a page or a blog or a group for every little big idea that pops into my head....actually some just do not make it to print here...but most do.

old chairs furniture books photos frames and junk

as with any family, many like to, or just do, collect a lot of junk...or ehem, treasures!, That stuff is not junk! 

throughout their lives. when family members are left with a daunting task of finding themselves in charge 

of an estate full of accumulated treasures there comes the question of do we donate, sell, toss or keep?

 I am willing to help with estate sales or cleaning out homes for family and friends for a small percentage fee

 of time and costs involved. family is always notified of any items that may have sentimental value and have 

first choice before a buy out or estate sale.
