Well there arent many places that i can find to research taylor smith and taylor dishes....and since i have an overabundance of it at this point, i decided it is about time to make a plan for all my china. Did you know they stopped making this stuff before 1962? that was the final year. so this stuff is old but beautiful!

..all vintage dishes pre 1962 will come with possible flaws from manufacturer. many are in near mint condition to acceptable condition. chips will be noted. this box full from this post to all prior posts here do not have one single chip! great condition.

these all display beautifully on my living room mcm coffee table with a vintage lace table runner. My mcm 1950's style house has what i call a galley kitchen or short runway. with just a tiny spot for a small table in the corner. that is it. no big dining room here. If you decide on a small home be sure to consider that, at the time i just needed a tiny house to get me started and am still here! It may be a smaller house but it is home, minus a dining room. 
I have added measurements for most of the dishes shown.

It is very pleasing to see how well the Pink Pyrex matches with these dishes as the pink is just about the right shade...what else would match with these I wonder......Here is a picture of the Pyrex mixing bowls...

just realized as i was reviewing my items for sale on ebay and bonanza amazon etc...that i have a syroco wood ashtray with a little Woolworth's dime store ashtray that just fits in it....and the colors match pretty well with this style of dishes....
ok so had to throw the ashtray in there....now back to dishes!
