A LITTLE FAR OUT SENSE OF HUMOR ADDED TO MY CRAZINESS OF COLLECTING AND TREASURE HUNTING FOR UNIQUE VINTAGE ITEMS ANTIQUES AND ONE OF A KIND THINGS MAKES JUNK CURATOR
THE PERFECT NAME......I received a call the other day asking if i would like a job...as i had been found online by a sales company as a reputable person to work for their company much to my suprise. Thank you by the way for that great uplifting phone call that reinforced my belief that when we do the right things, the right things will happen...or in a sense that when we are honest and live for what we love doing, people notice we are happy and successful and want us to help them too.
So, my reply out of the blue even suprised me a bit since i wasnt quite sure what to say....um no i love staying home....? no...that would certainly not be a good answer.....quickly i answered...with this..
I have decided to stay home for awhile to try artwork and painting.....the question i received back was oh you are a Curator?
well not exactly i am an artist..but will definitely keep you in mind and would love to pass the word on to others who may be looking for work for your company.
so as an artist, and treasure hunter of unique items, in a sort of way i am a curator, of art and of junk....hence, junk curator. and this folks is how the new crazy name came about....
so lets hope i dont ever need to call up that company to accept a job there, as i do kinda sorta really love my freedom to stay home and go out occasionally seeking treasures for my collections to find new homes for or to keep or even things to paint my artwork onto which makes me a tole painter as well....in a picasso sort of way...junk curator sounds intriquing, unique as i am, and eccentricly expensive...which is the price on many of my items when you include shipping costs....!
believe me, i will share my treasures at much lower prices if you come and get them from me directly or set up your own shipping from here to you.
i have added in the costs in many cases to the price of the item to ensure shipping is covered most everywhere in the US. and in some cases shipping for international customers. as we know with a junk curator, prices are always negotiable. shipping however, isnt.
so be sure to enjoy browsing my blog, send me a message, or browse my booth filled with items...or fill a shopping cart and make my family happy to see me boxing up treasures from our home to yours....they love empty spaces, i love treasures....need a happy medium here...less treasures in my home and more in yours. ;) the sooner the better before someone else gets them all! treasures that is, not the family and pets. those are not for sale.
